Uncle Kurt & Aunt Shirley Getting a Harley Trike 8-23-08
Here they are test driving a trike..This is not a Harley though. It looks like a Gold Wing to me. But they rode it and loved it and the next time you see them on the blog, they will be on their Harley trike. I can't wait...That's it for this post. Stay tuned for their next post (September maybe) and pictures of them on the Harley. I may ride the bike up to see them and get some pictures of them moving on down the road.
Until then, scroll down for more family posts and don't forget to click on the "older posts" on the bottom of EACH page for more posts back to January 08. Until next post, ya'll be careful out there........JOHN

The Family Pets (Texas) 8-17-08
This is Scarlett. She is a Shih Tzu and has been with us since 2005. Her birthday is Dec 2, 2004.
This is Tigger enjoying the fire. She has been with us since 2001. She was born sometime in 2000.

This is Rocco. I gave him to my nephew rob up in Kansas City. He belonged to the family down the street whose son was killed in a car accident. As Rocco was his dog, they had to get rid of him because of the memories..
This is Amanda's cat & our Grand kitty, Mittens. He has the bushiest tail I have ever seen on a catAnother of Rocco in the back yard..

This is Zoey, a parrot of some type..Some folks skipped out at the apartments where we lived and left him in the apartment. The management had him in a back room that was dark. I asked for him and they gave him to me. Tigger thought Zoey was a meal in a cage, and would not stop trying to get in the cage, so I gave Zoey to my then partner at the police department, Paul
That will conclude this post. These are most of the Texas animals except that Amanda now has six cats. She picked up a grey cat and named her Audrey. Audrey & Mittens got together & had a litter. Amanda kept 4 of the 7 kittens.

Betty's Birthday 8-2-08
Janice backs her car out of the garage and waits for me to get in so we can leave.
Enroute to the restaurant, Janice gives me this look..Can't you just feel the love...
We arrive & Amanda & Matt are already there waiting for us.

The flags on the ceiling. The MSU flag is for Midwestern State University which is located here in Wichita Falls Texas and where Matt S & Matt B graduated from.

After lunch, Matt plays doorman for Betty
Matt spied a small hole in the back of Amanda's levi's. So, he stuck his finger in it & gave a tug..Not only did it rip off her pocket, but it ripped off the material under the pocket, exposing Amanda's undies to the world. The people inside the restaurant by the window saw what happened and erupted in laughter. Amanda, to say the least, was embarrassed and not happy..Here she is talking to Janice & trying to keep the levi "flap" closed.
That will conclude this post. For the birthday girls (Betty & Amanda) the restaurant gave them each a large banana pudding. Looked so good, Janice & I got one..Scroll down to see other family stuff & don't forget to click on the "older posts" link at the bottom of each page for more of the same...Until next post, ya'll be careful........................John
