Amy & Dustin's Wedding Shower 7-20-08 Part I

On Sunday, 7-20-08, Amy & Dustin's wedding shower was held at Trinity United Methodist Church, in Wichita Falls Texas. The shower started at 3 pm. However, Janice, Matt & Amanda and I, started decorating at 12:30 pm, finished up at around 2:15 pm. We then hurried home, took showers & changed clothes and made it back to the Church as family & friends started to arrive. Scroll down and enjoy this day with Amy & Dustin and their friends & family. First thing Janice did was tie the helium filled balloons to the rail nearest the door that the guests would use. Then, the fun started..

Don't know how this got here, but its Matt S, Janice & Tammy outside the Church, after the shower as we departed..Well, it is now 3:05 am and I am still working on getting this entire post finished, before Amy gets up in 3 1/2 hours, so I guess I am entitled to one mistake....Sorry

This is a view of the main table,where Amy & Dustin would be seated during the shower. Matt S & I set up every chair they had.. Oh yeah, I put Matt S because my daughter married Matt & their last name begins with S. My son's name is also Matt & I put him down as Matt B because our last name starts with B, to avoid confusion with those that do not know the family..

This is the picture board history of Amy & Dustin as well as the goodie table. Janice bought two giant bags of Hershey's Kisses and then filled all those little red bags full of them..She sure has more patience than I do.

Tammy arrives. I took her picture & then got that gift that she was carrying on her shoulder..I was surprised at the ease that she was carrying it because it was heavy..

Amy is all grins and filled with anticipation for this wedding shower..I say this jokingly because she gets extremely nervous in front of people and she was actually dreading it..But she did well..She was a little softer spoken than she usually is, but she made it through it and had fun..

Peggy, Chris, Melissa & Amanda. I knew Melissa's dad when he was a SMSGT in the USAF. Melissa tells me he is retired & his once short hair is almost as long as hers now..I told her to tell him to get a motorcycle & come ride with us..He'd fit right in

Rachel & Matt S, very possibly will be in-laws one day...
