Dad Sends Some Pictures 2-25-09

I was talking to my mom a week or so ago and she was telling me how long her hair was. She is letting it grow and then she is going to get it cut and donate it to that organization that makes wigs for kids and folks that have cancer. Mom said the color was no problem as they can dye the hair. So I asked her to send me some pictures as I have never seen her with long hair as usually she has it pinned up when I go up to Michigan. So on 2-19-09 my dad sent me the following pictures with some bonus pics added on. Scroll on down and have a look see and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURES BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURES.

Here is a picture of Mom with her hair as I usually see it. I imagine this picture was taken at Kensington Park. I believe that's the park my parents love to visit. If that isn't that park, it's either some other park or my mom is on the back deck of their house and the grass is a little bit overgrown..(grin)

Here is a great shot of Dad. He is out in the wild somewhere. Wish I would of thought to get one of those caps. Then I could keep my big mouth shut and people could see that I didn't vote for the socialist we have now.. Great Hat Dad.. Wear it with Pride!!

And her is the length of my mom's hair. That is a pretty silver color..

Another view of mom's hair..

Here is mom or Maudie as I call her. Due to my C.R.S., I can't remember how we started the Maudie thing.. Good pic Mom...

Here is Dad and Vicki, my baby sister..Good pics. I asked mom how they got dad to sit still & smile and mom said Vicki made him do it..Way to go Vic!! Dad is not known for his love of being a model....

Vicki & mom..Either Vicki has gotten taller and mom is shrinking. I lost 1/2" when they replaced the disc's in my neck. Now I am 5'10 1/2"

And a pic of Dad & Mom together. This, I know, was taken in front of their fireplace. This will conclude this post. Thanks dad for sending the pics. I will place Vicki on call for when I come up there in May, to be on hand for the pic sessions. To be perfectly honest, when I was up there last year (?) Dad was smiling and let me take so many pictures, it bordered on abuse. I look forward to riding the bike up there in May and seeing everyone again..
Scroll down for more family stuff and be sure to click on the "older posts" link at the bottom of EACH page for even more family stuff. Until next post, ya'll be careful out there, you Yankee relatives, stay warm and don't get worn out shoveling the snow, tell one another you love them and pray for our troops. Those of you with motorcycles, ride safe.......................John
