Waiting on mom. Dad didn't go as he & Vicki were going to do the yard work. Also, this is the view of the front of their house with the new bushes.
Rachel waiting patiently by Matt's truck for everyone to get loaded up. Loaded as in "get in the truck".....
Rachel straps in for the trip to downtown Detroit.

Mom heading to the truck so we can start our trek North to Detroit.
Coming into Detroit, we passed by the Ambassador Bridge. This is the bridge to Canada. There is also a tunnel under the Detroit River if you prefer to go under rather than over.
Another view of the Ambassador Bridge.
The front of Comerica Park, home to the Detroit Tigers. You can see mom taking a picture of Matt & Rachel sitting under the Tiger with the aforementioned Red Wing Jersey on.

Mom, Rachel & Matt approach the Tiger..The area Catholic schools were having playoff's on the field inside the stadium, so there were a couple of thousand kids & parents out & about.
This is a picture of Ernie Harwell, the voice of the Detroit Tigers for over 40 years. Mom says he is in his 90's now & they still let him call a couple of innings. I grew up listening to him call the games on radio & television.
A view of some of the skyline of Detroit Michigan. That round building next to the Tiger banner, is the GM Building.
Me & Mom in front of Comerica Park.

The Tiger, at last, stands alone. Figures everyone would leave the area when we walked away. Murphy's law at work.
As we headed to Wyandotte & the river, we passed the old Tiger Stadium where we went to Tiger games when I was a kid.
